This behavior has been superseded by the Predecessor Analyzer Overlay
I think we should change this article to be about that overlay.
Predecessor Analyzer script contains a list of useful tools for dependency auditing. There are 4 options for user to choose from to do the checks on completed dependencies.
- Use Single Stope Predecessor
- Show Orphaned Nodes
- Show Chain End Nodes
- Just Draw Stope Predecessors
1. Use Single Stope Predecessors
If only this option is selected and a stope animation solid is also selected, Advance will then calculate and highlight another stope animation solid together with a bunch of other development solids that are all the predecessor of this selected stope solid. Note that all solids of the development predecessors of this selected stope will be highlighted but only one of its nearest stopes solid will be highlighted.
2.Show Orphaned Nodes
If only this option is selected, Advance will calculate and highlight any solids that do not have either any successors or predecessors.
3.Show Chain End Nodes
If only this option is selected, Advance will calculate and highlight any solids that do not have any successors.
4.Just Draw Stope Predecessors
If only this option is selected and a stope animation solid is also selected, Advance will then calculate and highlight all stope animation solids that the predecessors of this selected stopes. In another way, it will pick and show all stopes that need to be completed before the selected stope solid can occur in the schedule.
Rebuild Scheduling Engine
While have this script panel open, any changes made to the dependencies, user can click on “Rebuild Scheduling Engine” to allow Advance to recalculate the schedule incorporating the updates with dependency changes.
Export Highlighted Solids as Range
This allows user to export the highlighted solids from Option 1-4 to be exported as source ranges. Hence user could revisit these solids as in different ranges at later stage if needed.
