Parameter Tables are used in Advance to store a relationship between Lookup "Keys" and associated values, they are comparable to the concept of a Lookup table, but with key differences. While a Lookup table is understood and used as a one-dimensional table that stores constant values within a mine schedule project. Parameter table is a multi-dimensional look up table that stores more than one value for a constant and allow user to extra information out of the database. The followings are the steps in showing how to create parameter table in Advance.
Parameter Table Creation

- Click on the scenario name then click on the Parameters button within the top ribbon
- Click on the scenario name then click on the Parameters button within the top ribbon

- Right click on the newly created parameter table and select “settings”
- Add new “Keys” name and “Attributes” name
- Then close
- Be sure to "Unlock" the parameter table to allow editing
- Right click to add values for the “Keys” and “Attributes” and “Accept"
- You can access the values of parameter tables in expressions by using the "TableParameter" functions, the UI builder on the right helps you set up the expression to read the right information from the lookup table
