When there is information such as geological confidence (Resource Category, different ranges of grade i.e. high grade, medium grade, low grade etc.), available within the geological block model, Micromine Advance can interrogate this information within block model for shapes/task wireframes. The below are the steps in showing how to set up BM interrogation with filter applied so user can extract this information.
- Within the tab “Field Mappings”, add a new field called “Volume” with Value Type of “Cumulative Volume” (default value is 0)
- Tick the RESCAT field within BM to be active
- Set-up/creation of additional fields within table fields, following fields are created (example illustrating a RESCAT):
- Create a table field called “RESCAT” within table field
- Volume Measured Grade Measured Density Measured
- Volume Indicated Grade Indicated Density Indicated
- Volume Inferred Grade Inferred Density Inferred
- Volume Unclassified Grade Unclassified Density Unclassified
- Within the tab “Table Mappings”:
- All the above newly created four “volume” table fields is mapped to BM newly created “cumulative Volume” field
- All the above newly created four “grade” table fields is mapped to BM grade field
- All the above newly created four “density” table fields is mapped to BM density field
- All the above rows are applied with filters, RESCAT =1 for Measured, RESCAT=2 for Indicated, RESCAT=3 for Inferred, RESCAT=4 for Unclassified
- Within Table Field set-up, create the following tonnage field representing different reserve categories
- Tonnes Measured, Tonnes Indicated, Tonnes Inferred, Tonnes Unclassified. Formula to be applied to calculate Tonnes “Tonnes= Volume x Density”
